Terms and Conditions
Introduction
Please read carefully the following Terms and Conditions of Use ('Terms'), which contain the terms and conditions that apply to ShoeNet and its customers. In these Terms 'you' means the individual or entity using ShoeNet's site or services.

If you have any further questions regarding these Terms, please contact us. Please note, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Technical Information and advice
All care and attention is given to ensure that technical information and advice provided by ShoeNet is accurate but ShoeNet does not warrant the accuracy thereof and the customer relies on the same at his own risk.

Shipping fees
Shipping is free on all orders within the UK and European Union through DHL. Shipping is £15 per pair of shoes ordered to all other destinations. All orders using DHL are tracked & fully insured. Free shipping is optional to all other destinations outside the UK and EU using Royal Mail and domestic postal service within the country of destination in accordance with our terms and conditions. As laid out in the 'terms and conditions', orders shipped by this method will not be insured & at the customer's own risk and ShoeNet cannot take responsibility for any delays in transit, and will not issue refunds or replacements for an your order that is lost or damaged

VAT and other Taxes
All ShoeNet prices are quoted inclusive of United Kingdom Value Added Tax (VAT), which is included at the prevailing rate. VAT is not chargeable on all orders outside the UK

Customers receiving goods outside the EEC are responsible for any local taxes and/or duties incurred.

Acceptance of Orders
ShoeNet accepts orders conditionally on our being able to secure the necessary goods, and without responsibility for delays arising through uncertainties of manufacture, strikes, accidents or other causes beyond our control.

Ownership of Goods
All goods remain the property of ShoeNet until paid for in full by the customer.

Risk of Goods
All risks in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery.

Dispatch and Delivery Times
Goods are dispatched immediately following the receipt of full payment by the customer, provided they are in stock. In the case of orders by unsecured cheque, this will not be before the funds have cleared from the customer's bank to ShoeNet.

Goods should be delivered within 3 days from dispatchment for delivery within the UK, and 10 days from dispatchment for delivery to the rest of the world. Goods are delivered with an invoice for the order.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order, you must inform us of your wish to do so within 14 days of your receipt of the goods. ShoeNet will refund your money in full within 30 days of your cancellation provided you adhere to the Returns and Refunds terms below.

Returns and Refunds
If you are not satisfied with your goods in any way, you may return them to us for a full refund. However, please ensure you adhere to the following terms:

  • You must inform us you wish to return the goods within 14 days of receiving them, citing your reason(s).
  • You must return the goods to us in the same condition as they were delivered to you. ShoeNet cannot accepted returned goods that are soiled or damaged. Customers are advised to stay indoors whilst trying the goods to prevent damage.
  • You must return the goods with your original invoice.
  • You are required to pay for the postage of any goods being returned. In cases where the goods were faulty or the order was sent out in error, ShoeNet will refund the postage in full.

Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us immediately. You may do so by phone, fax, letter or email. You may also use our online contact form, selecting the Complaint option. We will deal with all complaints immediately and aim to have all complaints resolved within 5 working days.

Updates and Modifications to these Terms
ShoeNet reserves the right to update or modify these Terms without notice, though we will inform customers of any changes via the website. These Terms were last updated on 14th October 2002.
